Aviv Stern is a musician, sound artist and sound designer based in Israel.

Graduate of the 2013 class of the new music department at Musrara, The Naggar School of Art and Society.
 

The phenomena that emerge from every encounter, the smallest nuances and variations, inspire my work and my exploration into the behavior of sound.

To achieve this I use field recordings I collect from the world as well as create algorithmic or modular synthesis that mimic and recreate those randomizations in the sounds. 

I am passionate about how synthesizers, computers and code can participate in the creative process, sculpting sounds as if it was a physical material. 

 

My music rests in the worlds of electronic beats, field recordings, ambient and noise music.
